Use the map below to find your state's auto insurance bureau. Each state has an insurance division that regulates auto insurance. These offices determine the state mandated minimum required coverage, regulate who is allowed to market, sell, and underwrite auto insurance as well as the methods used in doing so. Most offices also provide citizens with a process for filing complaints against insurance providers as well as access to data and information about the companies permitted to sell auto insurance in that state.
